Lori Kissinger is a landscape designer with excellent design skills and broad horticultural knowledge. At the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Lori served as a teaching assistant in horticulture and design, and as a research assistant for the latest edition of Time-Saver Standards for Landscape Architecture, one of the standard reference works in the field. Lori has an A.A.S. degree in Advertising Design and Production from Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, NY, and a B.F.A. from Syracuse University. She spent three years in the UMass-Amherst’s Master of Landscape Architecture program. As a greenhouse manager and landscape designer for a local design/build firm, she has designed, estimated, and supervised numerous landscape installations on Mount Desert Island. Lori has been involved in horticulture on coastal Maine since 1995.
